What it does.
Studies show that red light therapy reduces muscle spasms, increases blood flow and circulation, and widens the lymph vessels. This helps ensure that waste products are cleared out of the affected area, allowing oxygen and nutrients to flow in. Red light therapy harnesses the healing power of red and near infrared light at selected wavelengths and frequencies. This then speeds up healing by activating the body’s own pain relieving hormones and promotes relaxation hormones such as serotonin. The LEDs, or light emitting diodes used, are non-invasive and painless, and don’t need any recovery time after treatment.
