Photizo Pain Relief – Conditions and Treatment
Joint Treatment:
Arthritis usually refers to osteoarthritis where joint damage is present, either caused by longstanding overload, or previous injury to the joints. The joint surfaces and surrounding tissues, like the capsule and ligaments, become inflames, swollen, and pain is present. Other types of “systemic” arthritis, like rheumatoid arthritis, gout arthritis, etc. can also be effectively treated by the Photizo Home care. In Osteoarthritis, no permanent healing is possible, as the bony parts of the joint are “wasted” away. Traditional treatment usually involves the control of pain, inflammation and swelling by medications, like anti-inflammatory and pain medications. the Photizo Home Care offers natural effective relief from pain, swelling and inflammations without contraindications or negative effects indicated in chemical medications.
Always treat with the probe against the skin, and if possible press lightly in order to mechanically block the superficial blood flow, as blood absorbs most of the light. This will ensure deeper penetration of the light. Treatment should cover the whole joint for knees, ankles, shoulders, etc. When treating fingers, treat both sides of the joint.
Start with treating the painful areas once daily for five days, thereafter treat two to three times a week. In cases of acute pain, you may treat twice daily for two to three days, but revert back to two to three times a week.
- Deep joints: Like vertebrae and hips, treat with double dosages, and cover all sides of the joint.
- Vertebrae: Treat directly over the vertebrae, as well as the side muscles.
- Hips: Treat the whole area, as well as the groin areas.
- Feet: Treat the footbridge, sides and under the foot, covering all the joints. For plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, treat the whole sole of the foot, from the heel to the toes.
- Hand, wrist and fingers: Treat the top and the palm of the hand from the wrist area. Treat fingers on both sides of the affected joints. Treat the wrist, covering both sides of the joint.
- Knees, ankles, elbows, shoulders, etc: Treat around the joints, covering all sides.
Muscle spasms:
Muscle spasms are the body’s way of protecting a painful joint or vertebrae, effectively splinting it, to prevent excess movement of the affected joints. Longstanding muscle spasms induce further pain and inflammatory reactions. This creates a vicious circle. Photizo home care will relieve muscle spasms, reduce the inflammatory processes, swelling and relieve pain, thereby breaking the circle, to give the tissues the opportunity to start the healing process if possible, or in chronic conditions, maintain pain free periods. Chronic muscle spasms and trigger points are usually the result of the body protecting painful joints, or longstanding overuse of the muscle groups, preventing the clearing of waste products, and inflow low of nutrients and oxygen. A good example is computer work. In other cases such as fibromyalgia, chronic trigger points and muscle spasms are symptoms of the condition. Most often, muscle spasms and trigger points are found in the shoulder, neck, upper and lower back areas.
Treat the affected areas once daily for five days, and then revert to two to three times a week. When acute pain is present you may treat initially twice daily, for three to four days, thereafter revert back to two to three times a week.
Trigger points:
Trigger points are points of tenderness in muscle groups, and causes pain and discomfort. When trigger points are treated, it relieves pain in wider areas. It is most useful to treat trigger points in fibromyalgia, headaches, back and neck ache.
Treat the affected areas once daily for five days, and then revert to two to three times a week. do not exceed daily treatment for more than seven days, to prevent possibility of slowing down cell function. When acute pain is present you may treat initially twice daily for three to five days, thereafter revert back to two to three times a week.
Pain and discomfort associated with poor blood supply; burning/cold hands and feet:
Treat daily for five to seven days. Cover all sides of the hands and feet. Then revert to two to three times a week to maintain better blood supply.
Pain and discomfort associated with swelling due to poor lymph drainage:
Hands: Start the treatment by first treating under the arm (axiila) with double dosages, then the fold of the elbow with a single dose. Cover thereafter both sides of the hand.
Feet: Start the treatment by first treating the groin area with double dosages, then behind the knee- also double dosages-, then treat the top and bottom of the feet with single dosages.
Treat daily for five to seven days. Cover all sides of the hands and feet. Then revert to two to three times a week.
Nerve pain and sensation problems e.g. low or heightened sensation:
Injured or damaged nerve cells outside the spinal column have the ability to repair themselves if they have sufficient energy and stimulation. The Photizo Home Care treatment will re-energize and stimulate these cells to repair themselves, and conduct normal impulses. Treatment should cover the side of the lower leg, inside of the shinbone, and the whole foot, top and bottom. You may experience a heightened sensation after a few treatments. This is normal, and indicates that the nerve ending is starting to conduct impulses. This will ease and normal sensation should return. Treatment should be continued as indicated below.
Treat the affected areas once daily for five days, then revert to two to three times a week. When acute pain is present you may treat initially twice daily, for three to four days, thereafter revert back to two to three times a week.
Tension Headaches:
Muscle tenderness, trigger points and neck spasms are associated with tension headaches. Start treatment at the base of the skull, and cover the indicated spots. You may also treat the neck muscles, and the spine processes of the neck vertebrae.

Start treatment as soon as the headache starts. Treat daily for two to three days to clear all muscle spasms and trigger points.
Tempero-mandibular joint (TMJ or jaw joint):
Treat directly over the TMJ and surrounding tissues. Treat also the muscles around the jaw lines and the side of the skull.
Treat once daily for five to seven days. If the problem persists, treat two to three times a week for 4 weeks.
